Engage with Hmong, Red Dao, and Giay communities in northern Vietnam through cultural exchange, sustainable livelihood projects, and experiential learning.

Packages Itinerary:
Day 1
Arrival in Sapa
- Travel from Hanoi to Sapa by sleeper bus or minivan
- Welcome briefing and orientation: Introduction to Ethnic Diversity in Vietnam
- Light walking tour of Sapa town and traditional market
- Group dinner and reflection
Day 2
Hmong Culture & Livelihoods
- Visit a nearby Black Hmong village
- Participate in a hands-on indigo dyeing or batik workshop
- Learn about traditional clothing and textiles from artisans
- Dialogue: What does tradition mean in a changing world?
Day 3
Community Exchange in Lao Chai
- Transfer to Lao Chai village, home to Hmong and Giay communities
- Homestay introduction and cultural welcome
- Cooking class with local family
- Evening storytelling session with elders
Day 4
Agriculture & Sustainability
- Participate in rice field work or organic gardening
- Learn about seasonal cycles, irrigation, and traditional farming methods
- Workshop: Climate Change & Rural Resilience
- Group reflection around bonfire
Day 5
Local Education & Youth Engagement
- Visit a local school or youth center
- Facilitate a creative or language-based activity with local youth
- Dialogue on access to education and aspirations of local youth
- Group discussion: Education as empowerment
Day 6
Move to Ta Van & Eco-tourism Immersion
- Trek or transfer to Ta Van, a Giay ethnic minority village
- Introduction to community-based tourism and eco-stay models
- Work alongside locals in daily activities (cooking, farming, or guiding)
- Cultural evening with dance or music
Day 7
Participatory Community Project
- Group project: mural painting, path cleaning, herb garden, or compost setup
- Mentorship from local leaders on leadership and collaboration
- Share experiences with local youth through games or storytelling
Day 8
Women & Craftsmanship
- Learn traditional weaving and embroidery from local women artisans
- Dialogue: Women roles in family and economy
- Explore fair-trade practices and artisan cooperatives
Day 9
Reflection & Final Presentation
- Return to Sapa town
- Workshop: From Learning to Action
- What Will You Take Home?
- Students prepare short presentations or reflection art
- Closing circle and certificate ceremony

Departure
- Travel back to Hanoi or next destination
- Final group sharing and evaluation on the journey
