Day 1

- Talk with a veteran or local resident who lived through the conflict
- Visit a nearby village to see life post-war
Outcome: Students explore war strategy, resilience, and lived experience.
Day 4
Voices of the Past: Personal Stories & Film
- Screening of a Vietnamese war film or documentary
- Dialogue with a local NGO working on post-war issues (e.g., Agent Orange, landmine clearance, or mental health)
- Workshop: Storytelling for Peace oral history activity
Outcome: Students hear personal accounts and reflect on human impact.
Day 5
Cultural Memory & Reconciliation
- Visit Reunification Palace and Notre Dame Cathedral
- Group activity: timeline creation of the war & peace process
- Cultural workshop: How Vietnam remembers & heals
- Guided journaling: What does reconciliation look like?
Outcome: Students understand the layers of historical memory and
healing.
Day 6
Peacebuilding Workshop & Action Lab
- Workshop: Peacebuilding Principles & Global Conflict Resolution
- Small group project: create a campaign, art piece, or dialogue guide on reconciliation
- Presentations and feedback session
- Closing ceremony & farewell dinner
Outcome: Students synthesize learning into a creative peace advocacy

Departure
- Final reflection and evaluation
