Day 1
Arrival in Bangkok & Orientation
- Arrival and hotel check-in
- Program briefing: Introduction to Thai Buddhism and Mindfulness
- Evening river walk and welcome dinner

Day 2
Buddhist Temples & History in Bangkok
- Visit Wat Pho (home of the Reclining Buddha) and Wat Arun
- Workshop: Symbols, architecture, and rituals in Buddhist temples
- Practice basic meditation with a local monk
- Group reflection session
Outcome: Students understand historical and symbolic elements of Thai
Buddhism.
Day 3
Dharma Talks & Monk Dialogue
- Visit a monastery school or temple community
- Dialogue with monks: Monastic life, values, and mindfulness in daily action
- Workshop: The Five Precepts and Eightfold Path
- Evening Thai chanting and reflective journaling
Outcome: Students build empathy and connect philosophical concepts to
practice.
Day 4
Travel to Ayutthaya & Mindful Heritage Walk
- Transfer to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital (approx. 1.5
- 2 hrs)
- Visit historic temple ruins: Wat Mahathat, Wat Chaiwatthanaram
- Guided mindful walking meditation among the ruins
- Cultural dinner with local storyteller
Outcome: Students practice mindfulness in a historical setting and explore
impermanence.
Day 5
Temple Stay & Monastic Immersion (Ayutthaya)
- Full-day immersion at a temple or retreat center
- Participate in temple chores (e.g., sweeping, preparing offerings)
- Dharma talk: Letting go, attachment, and simplicity
- Evening meditation and optional silent reflection
Outcome: Students experience the rhythm of monastic life and its spiritual
discipline.
Day 6
Travel to Chiang Mai & Cultural Meditation
- Morning flight to Chiang Mai
- Visit Wat Phra Singh and walk through the old city
- Evening cultural meditation session with local facilitator
- Group sharing circle
Outcome: Students connect to mindfulness through movement and space.
Day 7
Meditation Retreat in Chiang Mai (Part 1)
- Begin 2-day retreat at a forest monastery or meditation center
- Silent meditation sessions: sitting, walking, breathing
- Introduction to Vipassana or Metta (loving-kindness) meditation
- Vegetarian meals and mindfulness in eating
Outcome: Deepening self-awareness and emotional regulation through
practice.
Day 8
Meditation Retreat (Part 2) & Reflection
- Continued silent practice
- Optional one-on-one with monk or meditation teacher
- Afternoon reflection workshop: Applying mindfulness in real life
- Closing ritual and gratitude circle
Outcome: Students cultivate inner peace and personal clarity.
Day 9
Ethical Leadership & Buddhism Today
- Workshop: Mindful Leadership and Compassion in Action
- Visit social enterprise or NGO inspired by Buddhist values
- Final creative journaling and group visioning session
- Farewell dinner with cultural performance
Outcome: Students explore how spiritual practices connect to social
change.

Closing & Departure
- Morning group sharing and final takeaways
