Packages Itinerary:
Day 1
Arrival & Orientation in Phnom Penh
- Arrival and hotel check-in
- Program orientation and cultural introduction
- Welcome dinner and Khmer language basics

Day 2
Cambodian Education System Overview
- Visit Ministry of Education or a local education-focused NGO
- Seminar: History of education in Cambodia and future challenges
- Group reflection and discussion
Outcome: Students gain insight into policy, equity issues, and
development goals.
Day 3
School Immersion & Classroom Exchange
- Visit a local primary or secondary school
- Join classroom activities: assist in English classes, creative arts, or sports
- Peer exchange with Cambodian students
Outcome: Students engage in cross-cultural learning and build peer
connections.
Day 4
Teacher & Community Dialogue
- Shadow local teachers and learn about their challenges and innovations
- Roundtable dialogue with educators and youth workers
- Prepare lesson/activity for later engagement days
Outcome: Students develop empathy and practical insights into
educational delivery.
Day 5
Educational Outreach Project (Part 1)
- Begin two-day collaborative project in a rural school or learning center
- Activities may include: English games, hygiene education, storytelling, environmental workshops
- Evening reflection
Outcome: Students apply creativity and leadership in a real-world setting.
Day 6
Educational Outreach Project (Part 2)
- Continue and complete educational support program
- Joint performance or exhibition with local students
- Community lunch and celebration
Outcome: Students strengthen teamwork and contribute meaningfully to
learning spaces.
Day 7
Travel to Siem Reap & Cultural Stop
- Travel from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap
- En route: visit a cultural or historical site (e.g., Sambor Prei Kuk or Kompong Kdei Bridge)
- Check-in and evening debrief
Outcome: Students reflect on urban-rural differences and cultural heritage.
Day 8
Vocational Education & Skills Training
- Visit a social enterprise offering vocational training (e.g., hospitality, crafts, IT)
- Learn from youth trainees and enterprise leaders
- Workshop: What makes education relevant and future-ready?
Outcome: Students understand the importance of practical education for
livelihoods.
Day 9
Youth Leadership & Innovation
- Meet with youth-led community projects or innovation hubs
- Panel discussion: The voice of Cambodian youth
- dreams and barriers
- Group brainstorm: youth-centered solutions to education gaps
Outcome: Students are inspired by local changemakers and begin
designing small projects.
Day 10
Design Thinking for Change Workshop
- Full-day hands-on workshop using design thinking
- Teams create mini-project proposals focused on youth empowerment
- Peer feedback and mentorship
Outcome: Students practice creative problem-solving for social impact.
Day 11
Cultural Exchange & Service
- Participate in a community cultural day: Khmer games, cooking, or dance
- Light volunteering: mural painting, garden work, or library organization
- Dialogue with community elders or students about intergenerational learning
Outcome: Students engage in respectful service and learn from diverse
community voices.
Day 12
Explore Angkor & Education through Heritage
- Visit Angkor Wat and nearby temples
- Discussion: How does cultural heritage connect to youth identity and pride?
- Group reflection
Outcome: Students link historical identity with education for the future.
Day 13
Final Project Presentation & Closing Circle
- Present action plans or reflections in a creative format (poster, performance, video)
- Celebration with local youth participants and partners
- Farewell dinner and certificate ceremony
Outcome: Students consolidate learning, express gratitude, and celebrate
cultural exchange.
Day 14
Departure from Siem Reap
- Morning reflection time or temple walk
- Depart for home country
