Day 8
Kinabatangan River Wildlife Expedition
- Travel to Kinabatangan River
- River safari: observe wild orangutans, pygmy elephants, proboscis monkeys
- Night boat ride and species log activity

data.
Day 9
Conservation in Action: Reforestation
- Tree planting with local environmental group
- Learn about rewilding and habitat restoration techniques

Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre & Reflection

- Final group workshop: Ethics in wildlife tourism and conservation
- Personal reflection time and creative expression (drawing, journaling, etc.)
Outcome: Students reflect on the emotional and ethical aspects of
conservation work.
Day 13
Youth-Led Conservation Forum
- Host or join a youth-led conservation forum with local students or interns
- Present group projects, share reflections
- Farewell celebration and cultural dinner
Outcome: Students practice communication, share impact stories, and
connect with peers.
Day 14
Departure from Kota Kinabalu
- Morning walk or mindfulness session
- Program closing circle
- Depart for home country
Outcome: Students return inspired, equipped with knowledge and
motivation to protect nature.
